Today's blog is about how Foreign Affairs is handled by the present Canadian government.
Foreign Affairs, one of the most important portfolios in the life of a country, whatever you might call it; foreign affairs, external affairs, global or united world affairs, all lead to the discharge of the same duties; dealing with other countries.
But usually, if you deviate from the conventional name used for decades, it means you are sending a message, little we knew that this message would entail a fundamental switch in policies, from being exercised fist and foremost to insure the interests of Canada, instead the message could be understood as; my foreign policies will be based on my personal ideology and my personal beliefs.

Then the prime minister assigns  the foreign affairs portfolio to a minister that shares his ideology and personal views of the world, and then some, the minister brings a preconceived notion of certain countries, a deep rooted dislike that leads to score settling, which is personal and not in the interest of 36 million Canadians.
The minister starts a journey by antagonizing many countries, paid time that would have been better spent by the minister learning the basics of diplomacy and international relations. Personal animosity clouded the judgement and prevented the minister from applying simple basic rules of international relations, where you present your case then you allow the other side to present their's, deal with the facts, keeping in mind that you are an employee sent to insure your employer's benefits are protected, for your employer is not your personal property, the minister in my opinion deviated so far from that rule that it looks almost impossible to fix the pile of faults that the minister has plunged the country in.
First unleashed an obvious dislike for Russia, which did not start yesterday, layers of that accumulated for years, insulting a super power, and a super power it is, military, economic, cultural and with a wide sphere of influence. this action is not beneficial to My Canada, the most shameful is having the minister we are all paying to exercise good judgement and elevate the status of Canada in the world, instead being banned by the Russian federation, this is a first in the history of Canada, may be the world, instead of pride the minister brought us disappointment that no other minister have on the planet.

The suffering of Ukraine is real, painful, and devastating, it reminds me of so many avoidable tragedies that have taken place around the world, but politics, ideology, and the rush to polarise, and recruit new members to one side or the other, will keep the two major camps alive no matter the cost. It is obvious that the current players in the Ukraine conflict, have failed to prevent the disintegration of that country, which I might add, was preventable. Who are the players? Ukraine and Russia Today friends I was listening to Mr. kirby, of the US. National Security Council, a journalist asked him a question, about the reasons behind Mr. Putin's visit to Iran, his answer was; He believes that Mr. Putin is isolated, and that's why He is visiting such rogue states as Iran Intended or not, Mr. kirby's response was a perfunctory one Here is an unedited, not doctored, true response: Mr. Putin is waving the stick now, He is getting serious.  last week Iran was advised by the master to announce that they have enriched uranium up to 20% which will lead into an almost nuclear weapon, 90% that is, nevertheless it still needs 10% to be called a weapon.
